About the role#
This is a full-time, paid internship for the Summer 2027 term. You will work with our team to solve business challenges through data science. You will gain experience in how data projects move from initial problem definition to final implementation.
What you'll do#
- Partner with team members to turn business needs into analytical questions.
- Learn best practices for data preparation, exploratory analysis, feature engineering, and model development.
- Gain exposure to machine learning techniques like forecasting, classification, and anomaly detection.
- Work with generative AI applications, including Copilot Studio and Open-source LLMs.
- Use tools such as Python, SQL, Snowflake, Azure Data Factory, Matillion, and Power BI.
- Participate in brainstorming sessions and project discussions.
- Present your findings and recommendations to the team.
- Attend regular mentorship and professional development meetings.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment as a full-time student at an accredited U.S. college or university.
- Pursuit of an undergraduate degree in Data Science.
- Ability to work in the greater Milwaukee area during the summer.
- Authorization to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
Location & details#
- This role is based in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.
- The position is hybrid. You must have a quiet workspace for remote tasks and the ability to work from the office as needed.
- You will work up to 40 hours per week.
