About the role#
This position is for a student enrolled in a recognized post-secondary co-operative program. You will work with the SAP Basis team to maintain technical documentation and automate administrative tasks. You will also collaborate on implementing AI-driven solutions to improve operational efficiency. This role involves assisting with various information technology projects and services across the IT department.
What you'll do#
- Create and maintain technical documentation for the SAP Basis team.
- Automate repetitive administrative processes.
- Explore and implement AI-driven solutions.
- Assist with assigned IT solutions, projects, and programs.
- Contribute to various IT disciplines, including software development, business analysis, and technology architecture support.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a recognized post-secondary co-operative program in computer science, computer engineering, information technology, or a related field.
- Knowledge of computer science concepts, methodologies, and practices.
- Familiarity with project management principles.
- Understanding of health and safety legislation, including worker rights and duties.
- Strong critical thinking and analytical skills.
- Ability to communicate effectively in English, both orally and in writing.
- Capacity to work both independently and as part of a team.
- No prior experience is required.
