About the role#
This is a part-time, year-round internship within the Administration Division of the Airports Department. The role serves as a training opportunity for students to gain experience in public administration and the daily operations of City departments. You will provide research, administrative, and technical support to help our teams function effectively.
What you'll do#
- Perform basic account reconciliations, including payroll tasks.
- Support the accounts receivable and accounts payable processes.
- Assist with various financial, project-related, and administrative assignments.
- Provide research and technical support as requested by your department.
What you'll need#
- You must be at least 18 years of age.
- Completion of at least one year of college-level coursework in accounting, finance, or business administration.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Excel, specifically regarding data entry and basic spreadsheet creation.
- A foundational understanding of account reconciliation practices.

- This position is located in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.
- Work is performed on-site.
- This is a paid, part-time position capped at 29 hours per week.
- Applicants assigned to the Airports Department must pass a TSA background check including fingerprinting.
