About the role#
The Data, Strategy & Innovation intern supports efforts to modernize internal systems for permitting and operations. You will gain hands-on experience in digital transformation by assisting with platform deployment, documenting current systems, and identifying ways to improve organizational efficiency. You will work alongside project managers and technical staff to support the rollout of Oracle OPAL and help build a centralized inventory of current tools.
What you'll do#
- Coordinate tasks for the implementation and rollout of Oracle OPAL for permitting processes.
- Document workflows, user requirements, and implementation milestones.
- Research and document existing internal systems, applications, and tools across departments.
- Build and maintain a centralized portfolio or inventory of organizational systems.
- Support the scheduling, coordination, and documentation for project meetings and stakeholder sessions.
What you'll need#
- Pursuing an associate or bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or an appropriate discipline.
- An understanding of information systems.
- Strong organizational skills.
