    About the role#

    The City of Atlanta Ethics Office is looking for an intern to support its investigations, advisory, and business operations. This part-time role offers hands-on experience in government ethics, compliance, and public service. You will work alongside experienced professionals to help maintain the integrity and transparency of city government.

    What you'll do#

    • Gather and analyze information related to ethics complaints.
    • Support the drafting of advisory opinions and guidance documents.
    • Assist in the preparation of training materials and outreach programs.
    • Help manage financial disclosure collection and auditing processes.
    • Review and update Ethics Office policies and procedures.

    What you'll need#

    • Current enrollment in an accredited college or university degree program.
    • Strong research, analytical, and writing skills.
    • A high level of professionalism, discretion, and attention to detail.
    • The ability to work independently and collaboratively.
    • Interest in fields such as Political Science, Criminal Justice, or Public Health.

    Location & details#

    • This position is based on-site in Atlanta, Georgia.
    • The role is part-time and paid at $25 per hour.
    • Hiring is conducted on a rolling basis.
