About the role#
This internship program offers students the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the logistics industry. Interns will focus on one of two core departments, Carrier Sales or Inside Sales and Account Management. During the interview process, candidates will work with the hiring team to determine the best department fit based on individual interests, strengths, and career goals. This is a paid, part-time position designed to develop future talent, with high-performing interns potentially considered for full-time roles after graduation.
What you'll do#
- Build and maintain customer relationships to support their success.
- Negotiate rates and secure capacity with transportation providers.
- Connect with customers and internal teams to ensure smooth operations.
- Participate in load execution and service management tasks.
- Learn market dynamics, pricing strategies, and the end-to-end freight journey.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an associate or bachelor degree program.
- Ability to work 20-30 hours per week during the Spring 2027 semester.
- Strong verbal communication skills for effective interaction with customers and carriers.
- A motivated mindset focused on growth and professional development.
- Ability to manage time effectively between academic and work responsibilities.

- Location: On-site in Fort Wayne, Indiana.
- Term: February 22, 2027, to April 30, 2027.
