About the role#
This internship program offers students the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the logistics industry. Interns will be placed in one of two core departments: Carrier Sales or Inside Sales and Account Management. During the interview process, you will work with the hiring team to determine the best fit for your interests and career goals. This position is a paid, part-time role designed to support your professional development.
What you'll do#
- Build and maintain relationships with customers and transportation providers.
- Negotiate rates and secure capacity with carriers.
- Participate in load execution and service management to ensure smooth operations.
- Collaborate with internal teams to support customer success.
- Gain insight into freight sales, market dynamics, and pricing strategies.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an associate or bachelor degree program.
- Ability to work 20-30 hours per week during the Spring 2027 semester.
- Strong verbal communication skills.
- A motivated mindset focused on growth and professional development.
- Ability to manage time effectively between academic and professional responsibilities.

- Location: On-site in Fort Wayne, Indiana.
- Term: February 22, 2027, to April 30, 2027.
- Schedule: 20-30 hours per week, flexible based on class schedules.
- Eligibility: This role does not offer visa sponsorship.
