About the role#
This is a full-time, paid summer internship based at our headquarters in Fort Wayne, Indiana. We are selecting five interns for the 2027 program. You will rotate through three core departments to learn how our business functions. We view this program as a direct pathway into full-time roles like Carrier Sales Representative or Inside Sales Representative for high performers.
What you'll do#
- Rotate through Track & Trace, Carrier Sales, and Inside Sales departments.
- Manage active shipments and solve problems as they arise.
- Communicate with carriers and build professional relationships.
- Negotiate rates and learn margin strategy.
- Prospect new business through outbound calls and handle objections.
- Participate in a bi-weekly Freight Forum to learn about the broader transportation industry.
What you'll need#
- Status as a rising junior, senior, or recent graduate.
- Availability to work full-time, Monday through Friday, from May 31 to July 30, 2027.
- Ability to work on-site in Fort Wayne, Indiana.
- A competitive mindset and a drive to meet goals.
- Strong verbal communication skills and comfort on the phone.
- A coachable and resilient attitude.
- Interest in athletic or leadership experience is highly valued.

- Compensation: $15 per hour.
