About the role#
This is a part-time internship program for the Spring 2027 semester. You will work on-site at our Fort Wayne office between February 22 and April 30, 2027. We offer flexible scheduling to accommodate your academic commitments, with an expected workload of 20 to 30 hours per week. High-performing interns may be considered for full-time roles after graduation.
What you'll do#
You will focus on one of two departments, determined during the interview process based on your strengths and interests.
Carrier Sales:
- Build relationships with transportation providers.
- Negotiate rates and secure capacity.
- Learn market dynamics and pricing strategies.
- Manage the freight journey from pickup to delivery through live interactions.
Inside Sales / Account Management:
- Support customer relationships and business development.
- Execute freight sales and account management tasks.
- Coordinate with customers and internal teams to manage load execution and service.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an associate or bachelor degree program.
- Ability to work on-site in Fort Wayne, Indiana.
- Availability for 20 to 30 hours per week during the Spring 2027 semester.

- Strong verbal communication skills and comfort speaking with customers and carriers.
