About the role#
Join the Agentic AI Hub team to build AI applications that address engineering challenges, automate workflows, and improve productivity. This internship offers exposure to the full development lifecycle, including prototyping, implementation, evaluation, and deployment of AI solutions.
What you'll do#
- Design, build, and improve AI agents to support engineering workflows and knowledge discovery.
- Develop tools and API integrations to help agents interact with enterprise systems and perform multi-step tasks.
- Contribute to user interfaces, backend services, and platform capabilities that improve the maintainability of AI applications.
- Experiment with prompts, context management, and agent workflows, using feedback to improve outcomes.
- Build automated tests to evaluate task completion, accuracy, reliability, safety, latency, and cost.
- Apply secure software development practices, including input validation and access controls.
- Collaborate with engineers to deliver features, participate in code reviews, document technical decisions, and troubleshoot issues.
What you'll need#
- Active enrollment in a Bachelor or Master degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
- Proficiency in at least one programming language, such as Python, JavaScript, TypeScript, Java, or C++, and a willingness to learn new tools.
- Knowledge of software engineering fundamentals including data structures, modular design, debugging, and testing.
- Experience building software through coursework, personal projects, hackathons, open-source contributions, or previous internships.
- Basic familiarity with large language models and an interest in building AI applications.
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate and learn independently.
