About the role#
Join the CIBC Technology team as a Software/Application Developer Co-op. You will contribute to digital banking solutions by developing, testing, and supporting cross-functional applications. This role offers the chance to work on multi-platform systems while gaining experience in a professional banking environment.
What you'll do#
- Develop, code, and test computer programs for assigned tasks.
- Review, analyze, and modify programming systems, including debugging and encoding.
- Participate in the technical design, development, and integration of application systems.
- Interact with stakeholders, business analysts, and technical resources to gather requirements.
- Prepare design specifications as directed by senior team members.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a post-secondary program with a plan to return to full-time studies.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively with team members and stakeholders.
- Interest in investigating technical problems and developing solutions.
