About the role#
This internship provides hands-on experience in managing and optimizing the lifecycle of transportation assets. You will work with the Asset Management team to support data analysis, reporting, and strategic planning. This role is a chance to gain insight into transportation operations and contribute to projects that improve asset performance.
What you'll do#
- Analyze and manage transportation asset data, such as fleet utilization, maintenance records, and lifecycle costs.
- Maintain and update asset inventories and databases to ensure accuracy.
- Work with transportation operations, maintenance, and financial planning teams to identify efficiency and cost savings.
- Create reports and presentations for leadership to share asset performance insights.
- Participate in audits and inspections to ensure compliance with company policies.
- Contribute to projects involving sustainability, technology integration, and process optimization.
- Engage with field operations teams to learn about maintenance practices and team dynamics.
- Assist with various team projects as needed.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a supply chain, logistics, transportation, or related degree program.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools.
- Strong analytical and organizational skills.
- Good communication and teamwork abilities.
- A genuine interest in transportation systems and infrastructure.

- Location: Inver Grove Heights, Minnesota.
- Term: Winter 2027 and Summer 2027.
- Modality: On-site.
