About the role#
CHS Inc. is hiring a Sales Intern for the Summer 2027 term in Pierre, South Dakota. This is a paid, full-time, on-site position. You will work alongside experienced professionals to build practical skills and gain insight into how our business supports the agricultural industry.
What you'll do#
- Engage with clients and call on new accounts.
- Observe client interactions to learn about market trends, current quotes, programs, and the formation of marketing plans.
- Assist with the reporting and documentation of sales contracts to ensure accuracy and speed.
- Support the sales team with billing and settlement processes.
- Collaborate with operational and administrative staff to improve information flow.
- Provide customer service and maintain professional relationships.
- Take on other duties as assigned.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an Ag Business, Crop Science, or other agriculture-related degree program.
- Background knowledge in agriculture, crops, or grain is very helpful.
- Previous internship experience is helpful but not required.
