About the role#
We are looking for a Logistics Intern to join our Transportation division. This paid, full-time internship provides an opportunity to work alongside experienced professionals while gaining practical skills in a global agribusiness environment. You will contribute to projects that support our operations and help advance our business goals.
What you'll do#
- Reconcile contracted freight payments.
- Handle routine logistical tasks such as reporting, email updates, and customer service.
- Identify and resolve service level issues using root cause analysis and corrective actions.
- Build and maintain working relationships with carrier operations personnel and internal stakeholders.
- Manage carrier information and pricing documents in Excel and ERP systems.
- Collaborate with internal teams to define performance metrics.
- Create presentations for business reviews and sourcing projects.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Operations Management, Finance, Economics, or Agribusiness.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office software.
- Strong communication, data, and time management skills.
- A self-starter mindset with a motivation to learn new systems.
- Ability to influence internal customers, manage projects, and lead change efforts.
- A customer-focused approach to work.
