About the role#
CHS Inc. is hiring an Environmental Engineer Intern for the Summer 2027 term at our refinery in McPherson, Kansas. You will work alongside our environmental staff to support regulatory compliance programs and help manage environmental tracking systems.
What you'll do#
- Collect process data and perform analysis for regulatory agency reports.
- Help implement systems for environmental tracking and reporting.
- Collaborate with operations and environmental staff on various regulatory matters.
- Follow all company safety practices and training requirements.
- Wear required personal protective equipment, such as respirators.
What you'll need#
- Completion of your Sophomore or Junior year in an accredited Environmental Engineering program.
- A cumulative GPA of at least 2.6.
- A cumulative GPA of 3.0 or better is preferred.
- Prior work or internship experience in the oil and gas industry is preferred.
