About the role#
This internship provides hands-on experience with energy products, customer account management, and logistics. You will work under the supervision of the Location Manager or Energy Sales Manager to support the growth of a profitable sales territory.
What you'll do#
- Assist with the sales and delivery of energy products to key customer accounts.
- Implement sales strategies to generate profitable sales for new and existing customers.
- Build and maintain professional relationships with customers, employees, and industry representatives.
- Develop and execute a strategic project for the department.
- Conduct marketing research and analysis.
- Create advertising and sales support materials such as presentations, direct mailers, and literature.
- Work with the Energy Division to identify opportunities for better customer service.
- Follow company policies, including EHS, OSHA, DOT, and the Code of Conduct.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in a 4-year university pursuing a degree in Marketing, Communications, or Agriculture.
- Minimum standing of a second semester junior or first semester senior in good academic standing.
- Strong communication, collaboration, and decision-making skills.
- A customer-focused mindset and business knowledge.
- Willingness to participate in required training.
- Ability to obtain a selling or solicitor license if required by law.
- A valid driver license and a satisfactory driving record.

- Location: Nashville, Illinois.
- Work Modality: On-site.
- This is a paid, full-time internship with a rolling term.
- You may be required to work hours beyond a normal schedule.
- The role involves exposure to extreme weather conditions, dust, fumes, chemicals, and electrical hazards.
