About the role#
This internship provides hands-on experience working directly with customers and our agronomy team. You will support agriculture operations while building practical skills and working alongside experienced professionals. The role is based in Dickinson, North Dakota, with availability during Winter and Summer 2027.
What you'll do#
- Assist the Agronomy Sales Representative with crop scouting, soil sampling, and solving field agronomic problems.
- Design, monitor, and summarize farm trials to provide data to producers.
- Apply integrated pest management techniques to determine treatment thresholds.
- Create and present written reports for supervisors and customers.
- Learn the features and benefits of agronomy products and services.
- Handle over-the-counter sales and assist with product delivery.
- Perform warehouse and agronomy plant operations.
- Use the Agris software for inventory management and invoicing.
- Maintain equipment, facilities, and a safe work environment that meets local and company safety policies.
- Perform custom application if qualified.
- Assist other departments as needed.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an Ag Business, Crop Science, or related agriculture degree program.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office software.
- Previous experience in agriculture is preferred.
- Prior internship experience is preferred.
