About the role#
The Agronomy Sales Intern supports our agronomists to help build and maintain profitable customer relationships. You will spend your time balancing administrative tasks, technical field work, and operational support to ensure our team meets customer needs.
What you'll do#
- Assist agronomists with work orders, inventory management, and other administrative tasks to increase sales time.
- Perform technical field work including scouting, soil sampling, and documenting field diagnostics.
- Provide operational support by delivering products, performing minor equipment maintenance, and assisting in the yard or sheds.
- Attend key company meetings and training sessions.
- Collaborate with other agronomists and locations as needed.
- Take on special projects and other duties as assigned.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a college or vocational school with a focus on agronomy or a related field.
- Ability to operate mobile equipment and perform minor mechanical maintenance.
- Strong customer service focus and a commitment to meeting goals and deadlines.
- Comfort with basic math, including fractions, decimals, and whole numbers.
- Ability to lift 50 pounds frequently and maneuver on and off mobile equipment.
- A reliable and professional approach to safety and daily tasks.

- Location: Sioux Center, Iowa.
- Status: Paid, full-time internship with a rolling term.
- Work Modality: On-site.
- Note: This role involves working in various weather conditions and may require long, irregular hours, including weekends and holidays during peak seasons.
