About the role#
This is a paid, full-time summer internship based in St Charles, Minnesota. You will work on-site to gain practical experience in the agronomy sector. The role involves supporting sales representatives and participating in daily plant operations.
What you'll do#
- Assist with crop scouting, soil sampling, and solving field agronomic problems.
- Design, monitor, and summarize farm trials to share with customers and the team.
- Use integrated pest management techniques to set treatment thresholds.
- Write and present reports for supervisors and customers.
- Learn the features of agronomy products and services to assist with over-the-counter sales.
- Help with product delivery, warehouse operations, and plant maintenance.
- Use the Agris program for inventory management and invoicing.
- Ensure all work environments follow state, local, and company safety policies.
- Perform custom application work if qualified.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an Ag Business, Crop Science, or related agriculture degree program.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office software.
- Previous experience in agriculture is preferred.
- Previous internship experience is preferred.
