About the role#
We are looking for a Marketing Intern to help manage our restaurant presence through content creation, community outreach, and event support. This role involves storytelling, building local relationships, and connecting with our guests. You will work on-site to help strengthen our brand awareness.
What you'll do#
- Capture and create photo and video content for social media, including behind-the-scenes, team culture, and day-in-the-life features.
- Manage social media activity by responding to messages and going live at least once per month.
- Research current marketing trends and competitor strategies.
- Build relationships with local schools, businesses, and community organizations.
- Represent the restaurant at networking events and community gatherings.
- Assist with the planning, setup, and execution of restaurant events.
- Maintain daily notes and provide weekly updates to the leadership team.
What you'll need#
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- A creative mindset with attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple projects at once.
- A positive attitude and strong people skills.
- Comfort working both independently and as part of a team.
- Pursuing a degree in Marketing or Communications.
- Experience in social media management, photography, video editing, Canva, community outreach, or event planning is preferred.
Location & details#
- This is a part-time, paid position located in Tampa, Florida.
- The schedule is flexible and includes some evenings and weekends to support events.
- This role offers paid training and mileage reimbursement.
