    About the role#

    This is a paid, full-time internship for the 2026-2027 term. You will work on-site in Houston, Texas, to deliver digital solutions through design, development, and deployment. You will collaborate with product teams on key projects using agile principles to create reusable software components and services.

    What you'll do#

    • Write code to deliver functional software solutions.
    • Use CI/CD tooling to deploy software and iterate on your work.
    • Design and develop data integration and management practices.
    • Use AI-assisted development tools, such as GitHub Copilot, to improve productivity.
    • Apply AI and automation to accelerate software delivery and operational excellence.
    • Integrate existing solutions with the enterprise ecosystem.
    • Support and enhance vendor software packages.

    What you'll need#

    • Current enrollment in a bachelor’s or master’s degree program in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Management Information Systems, Petroleum Engineering, or a related field.
    • Ability to demonstrate The Chevron Way.
    • A current, unofficial transcript provided with your resume.
