About the role#
As a Software Engineer Intern, you will work on digital innovation initiatives and key projects within a global energy environment. You will collaborate with product teams to design, develop, and deploy functional software components and services. This role focuses on delivering modular, scalable, and observable solutions while adhering to agile principles.
What you'll do#
- Write code to deliver functional and innovative software solutions.
- Design and develop data integration and management practices.
- Utilize CI/CD tooling to deploy software and iterate on solutions.
- Leverage AI-assisted development tools, such as GitHub Copilot, to improve productivity.
- Apply automation capabilities to accelerate software delivery and operational excellence.
- Maintain code quality, security, and governance standards while utilizing AI-generated code.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a bachelor’s or master’s degree program in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Management Information Systems, Electrical Engineering, Petroleum Engineering, or a related field.
- Ability to demonstrate The Chevron Way.
