About the role#
This internship provides an opportunity to work alongside experienced construction managers responsible for the safety, efficiency, quality, and execution of construction projects. Interns gain hands-on experience in a professional environment and may be eligible for return internships or full-time positions upon completion.
What you'll do#
- Collaborate with construction managers to ensure all work conforms to safety policies, project plans, and design and construction codes.
- Coordinate with engineering and operations teams to prioritize and plan project activities.
- Work to reduce operating downtime and optimize production by aligning facilities with current operational needs.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or Business Administration.
- Strong academic performance in core coursework.
- Proficiency in communication, leadership, teamwork, and problem-solving.
- Ability to demonstrate The Chevron Way.
