About the role#
Cerity Partners is hiring a Risk Management Strategy Analyst Intern for the summer of 2027. You will work with the Head of Risk Management Operations on data projects that support the firm's insurance planning practice. This role provides direct exposure to data reconciliation, process improvement, and AI-assisted workflows. You will gain insight into how insurance and holistic planning function at a registered investment advisory firm.
What you'll do#
- Support data reconciliation across Salesforce and other internal systems to ensure accuracy.
- Assist with data clean-up projects by identifying and resolving discrepancies in reports and trackers.
- Partner on Claude-based AI projects to streamline and automate research and reporting workflows.
- Maintain and improve dashboards, databases, and trackers used for daily operations.
- Join internal planning meetings, prepare materials, and distribute notes to the team.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an undergraduate program with a strong academic record.
- Majors in Business Administration, Economics, Finance, or Operations Management are preferred.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and comfort working with large, imperfect data sets.
- Familiarity with PowerPoint and the Microsoft 365 suite.
- Working knowledge of AI tools, specifically Claude, and how to apply them to data analysis.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to absorb context quickly.
- A commitment to professional integrity and confidentiality.
- A genuine interest in consulting, strategy, or business operations.
Location & details#
- This internship is based on-site in Louisville, Kentucky.
- The position is full-time at 40 hours per week.
- This is a paid internship for the summer of 2027.
