About the role#
As a Pharmacy Technician Extern, you will act as an apprentice while completing your formal education or shortly after graduation. You will perform tasks related to your field of study and handle assignments that require independent judgment. You will learn how the department and organization function, follow established procedures, and make decisions about your own work methods with minimal direction.

- Align your daily work with department and organizational objectives.
- Follow standard guidelines and procedures while receiving guidance as needed.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in a Pharmacy Technician School (non-degreed program).
- Current licensure as a technician in training, if required by the state.
- A high school diploma or GED is preferred.
- National Pharmacy Certification or prior experience in a warehouse or pharmacy environment is a plus.
