About the role#
As a Clinical Extern, you will observe preceptors and participate in projects to build your clinical knowledge. This role focuses on the Managed Care industry. You will gain hands-on experience by shadowing staff and learning about various clinical services and internal processes.
What you'll do#
- Shadow preceptors to observe daily clinical operations.
- Participate in projects to develop industry-specific skills.
- Learn about clinical services and functions within Managed Care.
- Follow instructions and procedures provided by your manager or preceptor.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an accredited clinical program.
- You must receive course credit for participating in this externship.
- Ability to follow set procedures and instructions.
- Academic background in Public Health, Nursing, Health Administration, or Biomedical Sciences.

- This is a remote position based in Columbia, South Carolina.
- The role is unpaid.
- This is a full-time opportunity with rolling start dates.
