About the role#
This is a full-time, paid Field Service Intern position for Summer 2027. You will work on-site in Clifton, New Jersey, supporting the startup, commissioning, and re-commissioning of customer systems that use pneumatic, electrical, and electronic technology.
What you'll do#
- Assist with system calibration using basic electronic test equipment.
- Manage project documentation, including As-Built drawings, database backups, and daily progress tracking.
- Update files in Bluebeam, Excel, and Word.
- Support the static and dynamic commissioning of software programming.
- Set up operator workstations with necessary software.
- Communicate project status, concerns, and issues to lead personnel and project management.
- Complete all required paperwork, such as time sheets and status reports, on time.
- Coordinate with lead project personnel when arriving at and leaving work sites.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in an Engineering field with a GPA of 3.0 or higher.
- Ability to work in the US without sponsorship.
- Valid driver’s license and insurability by the company carrier.
- Willingness to travel more than 50% of the work week.
- Basic understanding of HVAC and experience in HVAC or Building Automation.
- Ability to lift up to 50lbs.
- Ability to climb ladders or use lift equipment at heights over 8 feet.
