    About the role#

    CareChoice is offering a 3-month Disability Support Worker Internship for students currently enrolled in an Allied Health qualification. This program provides hands-on experience and mentoring, allowing you to support clients while completing your studies. Successful completion of the program may lead to ongoing employment opportunities.

    What you'll do#

    • Support clients in building independence and achieving personal goals.
    • Assist with Supported Independent Living tasks.
    • Facilitate community access and transport.
    • Provide domestic and personal care.

    What you'll need#

    • Current enrolment in an Allied Health qualification, such as Nursing or Physics.
    • A valid driver’s licence and access to a comprehensively insured car.
    • Current First Aid and CPR certificate.
    • Experience working with, or supporting, people with disability through work, placement, or personal life.

    • Location: Mulgrave, Ontario.
    • Work Modality: On-site.
    • Employment Type: Full-time, paid internship.
