Student Warehouse Associate

About the role#

Cardinal Health is seeking a Student Warehouse Associate to join the Operations team at the Concord Distribution Centre. This is a 6-month contract position offering 24 hours per week. The schedule is Sunday from 10:00 AM to 6:15 PM, and Wednesday and Friday from 10:45 AM to 7:00 PM.

What you'll do#

• Process all incoming and outgoing shipments and stock orders to designated locations.
• Verify the quality and accuracy of products being picked and received.
• Operate various types of warehouse mobile equipment, with training provided.
• Sort packaged materials and process items for recycling.
• Maintain a clean and orderly workspace to support operational efficiency.
• Follow all health and safety guidelines and policies.
• Participate in continuous improvement projects and initiatives.

What you'll need#

• High School diploma is preferred.
• Ability to lift 10lbs to 30lbs regularly, and occasionally up to 50 lbs.
• Experience with machine operations and RF scanners is preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to produce accurate work.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment with strong communication skills.
• Comfort working in an active environment.

• Compensation: $17.60 per hour.
• Employment Type: Part-time, 6-month contract.
