About the role#
Cardinal Health is seeking a Student Warehouse Associate to join the Operations team at the Concord Distribution Centre. This is a 6-month contract position offering 24 hours per week. The schedule is Sunday from 10:00 AM to 6:15 PM, and Wednesday and Friday from 10:45 AM to 7:00 PM.
What you'll do#
- Process all incoming and outgoing shipments and stock orders to designated locations.
- Verify the quality and accuracy of products being picked and received.
- Operate various types of warehouse mobile equipment, with training provided.
- Sort packaged materials and process items for recycling.
- Maintain a clean and orderly workspace to support operational efficiency.
- Follow all health and safety guidelines and policies.
- Participate in continuous improvement projects and initiatives.
What you'll need#
- High School diploma is preferred.
- Ability to lift 10lbs to 30lbs regularly, and occasionally up to 50 lbs.
- Experience with machine operations and RF scanners is preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to produce accurate work.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment with strong communication skills.
- Comfort working in an active environment.
