About the role#
Cardinal Health is seeking a Student Warehouse Associate to join the Operations team at the Concord Distribution Centre. This is a 6-month contract position requiring 24 hours of work per week. The schedule includes Sundays from 10:00 AM to 6:15 PM and Wednesdays and Fridays from 10:45 AM to 7:00 PM.
What you'll do#
- Process all incoming and outgoing shipments and stock orders to designated locations.
- Verify the accuracy and quality of products being picked and received.
- Operate warehouse mobile equipment, with training provided.
- Sort packaged materials and process items for recycling.
- Maintain a clean and orderly work environment to support operational efficiency.
- Follow all company health and safety guidelines and policies.
- Participate in continuous improvement projects and initiatives.
What you'll need#
- High school diploma (preferred).
- Ability to lift 10 lbs to 30 lbs regularly, and occasionally up to 50 lbs.
- Experience with machine operations and RF scanners (preferred).
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to high-accuracy work.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment with strong communication skills.
- Preference for candidates pursuing studies in Logistics, Business Administration, or Supply Chain Management.
