About the role#
Cardinal Health is seeking a Student Warehouse Associate to join the Operations team at the Concord Distribution Centre. This is a 6-month contract position requiring 24 hours of work per week. The schedule includes shifts on Monday, Wednesday, or Friday from 10:45 AM to 7:00 PM, and Sunday from 10:00 AM to 6:15 PM.
What you'll do#
- Process all incoming and outgoing shipments and stock orders to designated locations.
- Verify the accuracy and quality of products being picked and received.
- Operate various types of warehouse mobile equipment, with training provided.
- Sort packaged materials and process items for recycling.
- Maintain a clean and orderly work environment to support operational efficiency.
- Follow all company health and safety guidelines and policies.
- Participate in continuous improvement projects and initiatives.
What you'll need#
- Ability to lift 10 lbs to 30 lbs regularly and occasionally up to 50 lbs.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to high accuracy.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment using strong communication skills.
- High School diploma is preferred.
- Prior experience with machine operations and RF scanners is preferred.
- Interest in working in an active, fast-paced environment.
- Preferred academic backgrounds include Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or Business Administration.
