About the role#
As a Leasing Community Intern, you will focus on delivering high-quality customer service and supporting our team. You will work to reach full occupancy through resident retention, leasing, and pre-leasing efforts. This is a paid, part-time position that requires living on-site at the community.
What you'll do#
- Greet prospective clients and answer leasing calls to determine their housing needs.
- Present apartment homes and the community to potential residents.
- Handle administrative front desk tasks and maintain accurate lease files.
- Participate in Cardinal Way of Leasing and Cardinal U training programs.
- Assist with planning community events and various property projects.
- Maintain the cleanliness of the tour path.
- Perform on-call duties, such as lock-outs and nightly rounds.
- Work evenings and weekends as part of your regular schedule.
What you'll need#
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Current enrollment in an accredited college or university with at least 6 credit hours and a minimum 2.5 GPA.
- Completion of at least one year of college studies.
- Must be a current or future leaseholder at the community and live on the designated floor.
- Ability to lift up to 40 lbs and access all areas of the property.
- Valid driver license.
- Availability to work approximately 20 hours per week.
- Ability to embody the Cardinal Culture and core values.
Location & details#
- Location: Arlington, Texas.
- Schedule: On-site, approximately 20 hours per week, including evenings and weekends.
- Term: Rolling basis with an annual re-application requirement.
