About the role#
As a Data Analytics Engineering Intern, you will work with cross-functional teams to build tools and data structures. You will act as a problem-solver, selecting the best solutions to meet business needs. You will own the recommendation and resolution of existing business problems, handling the process from initial identification to final deployment.
What you'll do#
- Transform data into structures within our data lake and Snowflake data warehouse.
- Create, improve, and maintain critical data processes.
- Ensure data is high quality, well documented, and easy for others to use.
- Build, automate, and maintain reporting and visualizations to deliver insights.
- Perform investigative analysis on large and diverse datasets.
What you'll need#
- You are currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree or higher in Mathematics, Computer Science, or Engineering, with an expected graduation date between September 2027 and September 2028.
- You have a strong programming background and experience building or maintaining data pipelines.
- You are familiar with SQL or data transformation tools like dbt. Python skills are an asset.
- You have experience working in Unix/Linux environments and with tools such as Git, AWS, or APIs.
- You can translate technical concepts for non-technical audiences and possess excellent communication skills.
- Previous internship experience is preferred.

- This position is located in Toronto, Ontario.
- This is a full-time, paid internship for Summer 2027.
- The role follows a hybrid work model, requiring 3 days in the office per week.
- The expected salary range for this position is $33.33 to $48.72 per hour.
