About the role#
This is a full-time, paid student position for the Winter 2027 term. You will work on-site in Toronto, Ontario, supporting the Economic Research team. This role is open to students currently pursuing an undergraduate or master's degree in Economics or Business.
What you'll do#
- Monitor and analyze economic and financial developments to support our research.
- Help expand our country analysis capabilities and coverage.
- Collect, organize, and analyze data from various sources to prepare internal and external reports.
- Maintain internal websites, databases, analytical tools, and PowerPoint presentations.
- Provide direct research assistance to the team and handle ad hoc research projects.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an undergraduate or master's degree program in Economics or Business.
- Familiarity with economic principles and the financial sector.
- Practical experience with Microsoft Office and Bloomberg.
- Previous experience in a research assistant role.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- High attention to detail.
- Ability to work well in a team and handle pressure when necessary.
