About the role#
This student placement position is designed for individuals seeking to complete placement hours starting in Fall 2026. Reporting to the Director of Clinical Support Services, you will work with the Records Management team to maintain the Client Record Management System (CRMS) and support the organization in its mission to provide community services for mental health and addictions.
What you'll do#
- Store, review, and dispose of client records in accordance with documentation and privacy standards.
- Scan and upload historical paper client files into the CRMS.
- Perform general administrative duties to support the team.
- Maintain strict client confidentiality at all times.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in or graduation from a post-secondary program in Health Administration.
- Proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Openness to working from an anti-racist, anti-oppressive, and 2SLGBTQ+ affirming framework.
- Strong interpersonal skills and a willingness to learn about cultural competence and intersectionality.
- Ability to travel within Peel Region and Dufferin County.
- A satisfactory Vulnerable Sector Screening (Police Check) report.
- Fluency in a second language, including ASL, is considered an asset.
