About the role#
This is a temporary full-time DevOps student position for the Fall 2026 term, running from September 21, 2026, to December 18, 2026. You will work with development and operations teams to learn how software platforms are built, deployed, and supported at scale. You will gain exposure to cloud platforms, infrastructure automation, and production monitoring while working under the guidance of experienced engineers.
What you'll do#
- Support and enhance CI/CD pipelines used to build, test, and deploy applications.
- Assist with the automation of infrastructure and environments using scripts or configuration tools.
- Monitor application and system health, responding to alerts and incidents.
- Troubleshoot issues across development, infrastructure, and deployment pipelines.
- Collaborate with software developers to improve reliability, performance, and deployment practices.
- Contribute to documentation, runbooks, and operational best practices.
- Participate in initiatives focused on stability, security, and efficiency.
What you'll need#
- You are currently in your second year or higher of a post-secondary degree or diploma in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or a related discipline.
- You have an interest in how software systems run in production.
- You possess strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- You are comfortable learning new tools, technologies, and environments.
- You can work independently while collaborating with technical teams.
- You have clear written and verbal communication skills.

Location & details#
- This role is based in London, Ontario.
- The position operates on a hybrid model, requiring you to be in the office 3 days per week.
- The base salary for this position is between $45,600 and $68,400 annually.
