About the role#
The Epidemiology Intern joins the Performance Management and Quality Improvement (PMQI) team. This role focuses on data management and administrative support for internal quality initiatives. You will work on-site in Kannapolis during the Winter 2027 term.
What you'll do#
- Manage the Epidemiology SharePoint site and maintain the Data Hub.
- Update Clear Impact Scorecards and write the accompanying narratives.
- Assist the Data Manager with scorecard updates.
- Audit and catalog past data requests.
- Participate in the Data Subcommittee.
- Help organize data training sessions for staff.
- Provide administrative support to the PMQI Manager regarding accreditation, quality measures, and satisfaction initiatives.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Master’s Degree program for Public Health or a related health science field.
