About the role#
As a Manufacturing Engineer Intern, you will support Process Engineering tasks and projects. You will work within a team to ensure manufacturing activities are completed on time and within budget. This role is based in Euclid, Ohio.
What you'll do#
- Develop and maintain process plans for the manufacturing of Control Rod Drive Mechanisms.
- Monitor manufacturing processes to ensure they remain safe, efficient, and high-quality.
- Generate SAP routings based on established process plans.
- Create CAD drawings for process fixturing, tooling, and setup instructions.
- Assist in the design and cost-justification of manufacturing tools and equipment.
- Collaborate with internal departments, vendors, and customers to resolve production issues.
- Participate in continuous improvement projects focused on safety, quality, and cost.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in a Bachelor of Science program for Mechanical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering Technology.
- Familiarity with engineering drawings and geometric tolerancing.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work across multiple disciplines.
- Experience with Microsoft Office, SAP, TopSolid, Siemens NX, Vericut, and Crash Guard Studio is preferred.
- U.S. citizenship is required.
