About the role#
Burnbrae Farms is looking for a Bilingual Talent Acquisition Co-Op to join our team in Mississauga. This is a full-time, paid position for an 8-month term spanning Winter and Summer 2027. You will work directly with our Talent Acquisition Specialist to learn the full recruitment life cycle and support our hiring operations.
What you'll do#
- Manage applicant flow through our in-house tracking system while following company protocols.
- Maintain accurate recruitment records and provide weekly pipeline updates to hiring managers.
- Coordinate interviews and act as a primary point of contact for both candidates and internal teams.
- Participate in weekly recruitment meetings to discuss progress and share process recommendations.
- Source candidates using job boards, online tools, and social media.
- Support various recruiting projects and additional administrative tasks as needed.
What you'll need#
- You are in your 3rd or final year of a university or college program in Business Administration or Human Resources.
- You are bilingual in English and French.
- You have hands-on experience in fields like agriculture, skilled trades, construction, or equipment operation.
- You possess strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- You are proficient in MS Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- You have excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to build relationships with internal client groups.
- Previous experience in customer service, sales, or using an Applicant Tracking System is considered an asset.
- Exposure to full cycle recruitment is also a plus.
