About the role#
The geology department is looking for an intern to assist with mapping and organizational projects. This is a full-time, paid, on-site role with a rolling term.
What you'll do#
- Analyze subsurface geology using various data sources.
- Create subsurface maps of geologic formations to show structural settings, thickness, and porosity.
- Manage and update well databases.
- Provide general support for mapping and organizational projects.
What you'll need#
- A Bachelor of Science degree in Geology or a related Geosciences discipline.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
- Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and time management.
- Clear verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to sit at a desk for long periods and lift up to 15 pounds.
