About the role#
BTD Manufacturing is hiring a Student Work Base Learner in Lakeville, Minnesota. This is a part-time, on-site role for students looking to gain production experience. You will work on-site and follow a set schedule agreed upon through your program.
What you'll do#
- Follow the BTD attendance policy and work your agreed-upon hours.
- Arrive on time, stay until the end of your shift, and return from breaks promptly.
- Produce quality parts that meet customer requirements and company standards.
- Learn to use the Manufacturing Execution System (MES) and follow Standard Work Instructions (SWIs).
- Meet expectations regarding earned hours.
- Maintain a clean, safe work area and help with general clean-up.
- Use clean language while at work.
- Maintain a positive attitude toward your work and colleagues.
What you'll need#
- Adherence to all safety rules and regulations.
- Awareness of your surroundings, specifically regarding forklift traffic.
- Proper lifting techniques.
- Reliability in attendance and punctuality.

- Compensation: $17.48 to $24.48 per hour.
