About the role#
BSA is seeking a student for a Mechanical Engineering internship during the summer of 2027. You will work from our studio in Carmel, Indiana. This is a full time, paid position that provides hands-on experience and the chance to work with professional teams on community projects.
What you'll do#
- Develop design ideas based on client specifications, serviceability, and function.
- Create working drawings from sketches and design specifications.
- Prepare materials and presentations for client use.
- Join project design meetings to see how teams collaborate on delivery.
- Attend client meetings and visit construction sites.
- Perform site surveys to collect field data.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an accredited Mechanical or Architectural Engineering program for the summer of 2027.
- Familiarity with Revit, 3D CADD, and SketchUp.
- Proficiency in the Microsoft Windows environment and Microsoft Office Suite.
