About the role#
The Transducer Engineering Intern will join the Navico Group Transducer Engineering (xdcrGroup) team in Tulsa, Oklahoma. This position focuses on new product development, specifically materials and process engineering for acoustic and electric energy transduction. You will work directly with the Transducer Engineering Lead to document processes and results in a laboratory environment.
What you'll do#
- Assist xdcrGroup engineers with lab work and field tests.
- Help develop transducer forming processes.
- Assist in the production of transducer prototypes.
- Learn about transducer materials, design principles, and acoustic design.
- Participate in the development of new transducer designs and product development cycles.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Bachelor of Applied Science program in Physics, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Chemical Engineering.
- Ability to work independently and within groups.
- Comfort with multi-tasking and shifting priorities.
- A selfless, can-do attitude with a willingness to learn.
- Ability to synthesize solutions when design inputs are incomplete.

- Location: Tulsa, Oklahoma.
- Term: Summer 2026 (Full-time).
- Work Modality: On-site.
- Compensation: $18.00 - $27.00 per hour.
