Fall Intern, Travel, Wine & Spirits

About the role#

BPCM is seeking interns for the Travel, Wine & Spirits department in New York. This program runs from August/September through December and provides hands-on experience in public relations, supporting brands across the travel, hospitality, luxury, and wine & spirits sectors.

What you'll do#

• Monitor online and print media for client features and mentions.
• Assist with giftings, sample inventory, and send-outs.
• Track client coverage and help prepare reports.
• Stay on top of industry trends.
• Help curate and maintain showrooms and storage spaces, including visual merchandising.
• Contribute to the creative execution of PR campaigns, events, and mailers.

What you'll need#

• Strong computer, written, and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
• Familiarity with platforms such as LaunchMetrics, Cision, and Muckrack.
• A detail-oriented approach and tech-savvy mindset.
• A passion for communications.
• Students pursuing degrees in Public Health, Communications, Business Administration, or Marketing are encouraged to apply.

Location & details#

• This position is based on-site in New York, New York.
• Interns are expected to work three days per week, from 10:00 AM to 5:30 PM, through December.
• This role is paid a $25/day stipend and may be eligible for school credit.
