    About the role#

    As a Process Development Intern, you will work with cross-functional teams to develop manufacturing processes for medical devices. You will partner with R&D and Operations to bring new designs to the market. This is a paid, full-time internship for Summer 2027.

    What you'll do#

    • Manage the content and integrity of Process Plans, including material usage and task sequencing.
    • Collaborate with teams to refine and establish manufacturing processes.
    • Design, build, and test prototype devices based on clinical feedback.
    • Run process characterization experiments and validation to find optimal manufacturing settings.
    • Research and recommend new technologies for medical device production.

    What you'll need#

    • Current pursuit of a bachelor or graduate degree in Biomedical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or Material Science/Engineering.
    • Graduation date between Fall 2027 and Spring 2028.
    • Ability to work a full 12-week assignment from either May 17 to August 6, 2027, or May 24 to August 13, 2027.
    • Legal eligibility to work in the U.S. without company sponsorship.
    • Effective communication skills and an interest in learning new technologies.
    • Previous internship or co-op experience is preferred.
    • A strong interest in manufacturing medical devices.

    Location & details#

    • This role is based in Maple Grove, Minnesota.
    • The position follows a hybrid work model, requiring presence in the office at least four days per week.
    • You must have reliable transportation to the work site.
    • This is a safety-sensitive position and requires a prohibited substance test.
