Men's Resident Assistant (Student)

About the role#

A resident assistant is an undergraduate student employed to lead peers on his hall by patterning biblical discipleship and pursuing biblical disciple-making. This is a paid, on-site position for the Fall 2026 term.

What you'll do#

• Pattern daily fellowship with God through His Word and personal prayer.
• Maintain weekly involvement in a local church and outreach ministry.
• Look out for the spiritual and general well-being of students on your hall.
• Evidence a heart for disciple-making and meet weekly with group leaders and your assistant group leader.
• Convey the mission and discipleship philosophy of the university.
• Encourage biblical meditation, prayer, and church involvement.
• Provide a presence at the RA desk to minister to students, welcome guests, and ensure residence hall security.
• Provide accountability through daily duties such as late-night sign-in and goodnights.
• Enforce university policy on and off campus, including the use of demerits.

What you'll need#

• Must be currently enrolled as a student at Bob Jones University.
• Evidence a desire to be discipled.
• Personally submit to the expectations of Bob Jones University.
• Preference for students majoring in Psychology.
