About the role#
A Resident Assistant is an undergraduate student who leads peers on his hall. You will model biblical discipleship and pursue disciple-making within the residence hall community.
What you'll do#
- Pattern daily fellowship with God through His Word and personal prayer.
- Maintain weekly involvement in a local church and outreach ministry.
- Look out for the spiritual and general well-being of students on your hall.
- Meet weekly with group leaders and your assistant group leader.
- Convey the mission and discipleship philosophy of the university.
- Encourage students in biblical meditation, prayer, and church involvement.
- Staff the RA desk to welcome guests, provide a presence, and ensure hall security.
- Provide accountability through daily duties like sign-ins and goodnights.
- Enforce university policy on and off campus.
