About the role#
This position supports the BJU Press VIP program by providing transportation for visiting Christian school teachers and administrators. This is a student role requiring a professional demeanor and the ability to operate university vehicles safely.
What you'll do#
- Transport guests between the airport and their hotel.
- Pick up and return vans from the Transportation department.
- Drive on scheduled Monday afternoons/evenings and Thursday mornings, occurring approximately 8 times per year.
- Occasionally lift, carry, push, or pull up to 100 lbs.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment as a student at Bob Jones University.
- A valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- Ability to drive both mini-vans and 15-passenger vans (must be 21 years of age or older to operate 15-passenger vans per insurance requirements).
- Strong interpersonal skills and clear communication.
- Professionalism, punctuality, and attention to detail.
