About the role#
The 2027 BNY Summer Internship Program in Engineering (Production Services) is a full-time, 10-week experience based in Pittsburgh. This role focuses on maintaining, monitoring, and troubleshooting technology platforms within a large-scale enterprise environment. You will gain exposure to how applications are supported and improved while working alongside global, cross-functional teams.
What you'll do#
- Support the maintenance, monitoring, and troubleshooting of applications and technology platforms.
- Partner with cross-functional teams to plan work, resolve issues, and execute improvements.
- Use AI and other toolsets to monitor production health and analyze performance data.
- Document configurations, procedures, and support activities.
- Build knowledge of the full software development lifecycle.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in a 4-year undergraduate degree program in Computer Science, Mathematics, Computer Engineering, Business Administration, Data Science, Psychology, Electrical Engineering, or Economics.
- A minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0.
- Expected graduation date of December 2027 or May 2028.
- Knowledge and usage of AI tools such as Windsurf and Claude.
- Ability to adapt to changing priorities and balance multiple tasks.
- Strong interpersonal skills including collaboration and negotiation.
- A keen interest in problem solving, new technology challenges, and industry best practices.
- Must not require sponsorship for employment visa status.
