About the role#
This is a full-time, paid internship position for the Winter 2027 term. You will work on-site at our Victoriaville branch to support our retail banking operations and client services.
What you'll do#
- Provide service to current and potential clients by identifying their needs and offering financial advice.
- Guide customers on digital and self-service banking options.
- Conduct banking interviews to recommend products and investment services.
- Review customer profiles to identify opportunities for banking programs and credit cards.
- Collaborate with branch partners to achieve sales and service goals.
- Assist with operational tasks including stock management, filing, and opening or closing procedures.
- Integrate promotional offers into client conversations.
- Maintain compliance with risk policies and report suspicious money laundering activity.
- Stay informed on financial market trends, regulations, and ethical standards.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in or recent completion of studies in Business Administration, Finance, or Economics.
- One to two years of relevant work experience or equivalent certification.
- Fluency in both French and English.
- Experience in consultative sales or customer service.
- Proficiency with social media, tablets, smartphones, and online tools.
- Ability to obtain a license to sell investment products within 12 months.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to listen and solve problems.
- Basic knowledge of commercial banking solutions.
