About the role#
The Bismarck Larks are seeking a Player Operations and Clubhouse Manager intern for the 2027 summer season. This role supports our ballpark operations and player personnel team. You will serve as a point of contact for players, coaches, umpires, and staff to ensure the clubhouse functions effectively throughout the summer. This position provides hands-on experience in sports operations and event management.
What you'll do#
- Manage equipment and uniform inventory, including distribution and record-keeping.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the clubhouse, dugouts, and batting cage areas.
- Serve as the primary liaison for umpires, including managing their locker room setup, meals, and daily needs.
- Handle laundry duties for both home and visiting teams.
- Maintain water and Gatorade supplies for teams.
- Coordinate post-game meal distribution for players and umpires.
- Assist with ballpark and Family Fun Zone set-up and tear-down for games and events.
- Distribute marketing materials throughout the stadium and community.
- Perform as the team mascot at least once during the season.
What you'll need#
- Current college student status.
- Interest in operations and equipment management.
- Academic focus in Sport Management, Event Management, Hospitality, Business, Marketing, or a related field.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Sheets.
- Strong organizational, time management, and verbal communication skills.
- Attention to detail and the ability to multi-task.
- Ability to lift 30-50 lbs.
- A positive, self-motivated, and collaborative attitude.

- Location: Bismarck, North Dakota.
- Term: Summer 2027 (May 10 to August 13).
- Work Modality: On-site.
- This is a paid internship. Housing options or a stipend are available to assist with living expenses.

The Bismarck Larks Baseball Club operates as a member of the Northwoods League. Founded in 2017, the organization is based in Bismarck, North Dakota. The club provides entertainment and hospitality services for families and local companies. All home games take place at the Bismarck Municipal Ballpark.
