About the role#
The Bismarck Larks are seeking Ballpark Operations Interns for the Summer 2027 season. This role provides hands-on experience in stadium management, event logistics, and food and beverage operations. You will work directly with the operations team to ensure the ballpark runs smoothly while supporting our mission to provide a positive experience for fans and staff.
What you'll do#
- Assist the Ballpark Operations Management Team with daily tasks and event execution.
- Manage food and beverage operations, including receiving orders, tracking inventory, performing waste management, and ensuring quality control.
- Oversee specific concession locations, including setup, teardown, staff training, and restocking.
- Support game day staff and concession employee management.
- Maintain ballpark cleanliness and assist with maintenance, including the Family Fun Zone and general seating areas.
- Coordinate operations for the team retail store and e-commerce platform.
- Assist with the distribution of marketing materials throughout the stadium and community.
- Represent the team at various Larks, Funatix, and community events.
- Perform as the team mascot at least once during the summer.
- Attend office hours from 9 AM to 5 PM on weekdays when not managing events.
What you'll need#
- Current college student status.
- Availability for all Bismarck Larks home games, team events, and Funatix events, including weekends and holidays.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Sheets.
- Ability to lift and transport heavy items weighing between 50 and 160 pounds.
- Strong verbal communication, organization, and time management skills.
- Cash handling experience.
- Attention to detail and a self-motivated approach to tasks.
- A positive, can-do attitude and the ability to work well within a team.
- Preferred: Experience in customer service, management, food service, power tools, or previous ballpark operations.

- Location: Bismarck, North Dakota.
- Term: Summer 2027 (May 10, 2027, to August 13, 2027).
- This is a full-time, on-site internship.
- This position is paid via a monthly stipend, with housing options provided by the organization.
About Bismarck Larks Baseball Club
The Bismarck Larks Baseball Club operates as a member of the Northwoods League. Founded in 2017, the organization is based in Bismarck, North Dakota. The club provides entertainment and hospitality services for families and local companies. All home games take place at the Bismarck Municipal Ballpark.
