About the role#
The Bismarck Larks are looking for Entertainment and Community Engagement interns for the 2027 summer season. This role is designed for students who want hands-on experience in sports marketing, event management, and fan entertainment. You will work directly with our entertainment team to create a memorable atmosphere at the ballpark and represent the team at community events.
What you'll do#
- Plan and execute game day entertainment, including on-field games, skits, and theme nights.
- Manage contestant sign-ups and waivers for game day activities.
- Serve as an in-game character or actor and perform as the team mascot at least once during the season.
- Assist with the setup and maintenance of the Larks Family Fun Zone, promo areas, and the guest service table.
- Coordinate game day guests such as National Anthem singers and first-pitch participants.
- Represent the organization at sponsor promotions, community events, and Funatix events.
- Maintain entertainment inventory, including costumes, props, and signage.
- Assist with general ballpark operations, including pre-game setup, post-game teardown, and maintaining facility cleanliness.
What you'll need#
- Current college student status with a major in Marketing, Communications, Sport Management, Hospitality, Theater, or a related field.
- An extremely outgoing, charismatic, and personable nature with the ability to perform confidently in front of an audience.
- Strong organizational, time management, and communication skills.
- A creative mindset and the ability to think outside the box.
- A positive, can-do attitude and the ability to handle responsibility under pressure.
- Ability to work a full-time schedule, including all home games, weekends, and holidays.

- Location: Bismarck, North Dakota.
- Term: Summer 2027 (May 10 to August 13).
- Work Modality: On-site.
- This is a paid internship offering a stipend with housing options available.
About Bismarck Larks Baseball Club
The Bismarck Larks Baseball Club operates as a member of the Northwoods League. Founded in 2017, the organization is based in Bismarck, North Dakota. The club provides entertainment and hospitality services for families and local companies. All home games take place at the Bismarck Municipal Ballpark.
