About the role#
The Bismarck Larks are seeking a Broadcast Video & Technical Production Intern for the 2027 summer season. This role focuses on the pre-production, live-production, and post-production of all home game broadcasts. You will gain hands-on experience in sports and event media while working directly with the production team in Bismarck, North Dakota.
What you'll do#
- Serve as the PC Director for all 36 Larks home games.
- Manage broadcast operations, including running commercials, graphics, and replays.
- Monitor sound levels and capture, name, and upload in-game highlights to Dropbox.
- Create the Lead-In Show for broadcasts and coordinate with the Northwoods League broadcast supervisor.
- Design graphic and video content for the Larks video board, social media, and Funatix Events.
- Maintain broadcast equipment and assist with ballpark and event set-up, tear-down, and cleanliness.
- Represent the team at community events and perform as the team mascot at least once during the summer.
- Attend weekday office hours from 9 AM to 5 PM and assist with marketing material distribution.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment as a college student in a field such as Communications, Journalism, or Marketing.
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, including Premiere, InDesign, After Effects, Photoshop, and Lightroom.
- Ability to work extended hours up to 14 hours per day and lift 30-50 lbs.
- Strong organizational, time management, and communication skills.
- Previous experience in live sports production is preferred.
- A self-motivated, team-oriented, and positive attitude.
- Ability to multitask and handle significant responsibility.

The Bismarck Larks Baseball Club operates as a member of the Northwoods League. Founded in 2017, the organization is based in Bismarck, North Dakota. The club provides entertainment and hospitality services for families and local companies. All home games take place at the Bismarck Municipal Ballpark.
